Contributions to Higher Education Research (BzH) are published in open access. All content is available online free of charge and can be read, downloaded, shared and processed by users in accordance with the licence terms of Creative Commons Attribution - Non-Commercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) . This licence permits the reading, downloading, copying and processing of content exclusively for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original authors and the source are named.

The authors retain all other rights to their works. They may use their contributions elsewhere or republish them, provided that the initial publication by the IHF is duly acknowledged.

Archiving and technical processing

To ensure long-term availability, the IHF is entitled to technically edit contributions (e.g. through format migration) without changing the content. The transfer of simple rights of use to libraries, archives, open access repositories or long-term archiving systems (e.g. German National Library) is permitted.
